Young Climate Savers program

School workshops:
The interaction program in schools would begin with a brief on WWF and its activities, and the importance of Young Climate Saver program in collaboration with TETRAPAK.
Thereafter the film “Climate Change – The Untold Story” was screened in each school. This was followed by two Power Point Presentations made by WWF-India resource persons. The first was “Global Environmental Problems” which highlighted the causes of change in climate and its adverse effects on different aspects of life. The second was “Mitigation Measures to be adopted by Young Climate Savers”. This detailed the small but effective ways in which energy could be conserved at home, school and daily life. The interaction programs were very interesting as the children in almost all schools immediately pledged to take necessary steps to conserve energy in their daily activities.
