On 7th August, we eco club members guided by our club patrons Ms. Neelu Dutta and Ms.Usha conducted a special assembly and took an oath to conserve electricity. We the Young Climate Savers took a pledge to arrest Global Warming by switching off our electric lights for 8 minutes from 8pm. of the year 8 of this millienium.This was done with a view to stop global warming which interferes with the earth’s climatic system resulting in drastic changes. We the Ecoclub members also highlighted need the hour of to conserve electricity, nature and various resources of the environment. We also took the initiative to spread this message to our family, friends and neighbors.
