City level inter-school competitions and activities have also been conducted in the first phase of the YCS project. These events brought together the schools of the YCS project and encouraged students to compete in competitions focused on the theme of climate change. The competitions included quiz, debates, essay writing etc, and helped further raise awareness amongst students on climate change by motivating them to prepare themselves further in order to compete with their peers.
